Create symbolic links in Windows.

If you are among those who considered the possibility of creating links as a symbolic feature is its file Unix and Linux, you're forced to reconsider your position because starting from Windows 2000 and all subsequent versions, you can create symbolic links ( only between directories) that are more properly known as "NTFS junctions". But unfortunately as often happens, Windows does not include any tools for creating junctions, not ammenochè purchases apart from the Win2K Resource Kit that contains the tool "linkd."
But fortunately there is free utility called "Junction" is capable of displaying information about the "reparse points" created either to create or eliminate junctions. The syntax of use are the following:

 usage: junction.exe [-s] [-q] <file or directory> -q Don't print error messages (quiet) -s Recurse subdirectories
 usage: junction.exe [-d] <junction directory> [<junction target>] -d Delete the specified junction example: junction d:\link c:\winnt
