How to increase the speed of their connection to the Internet
If your PC running Windows XP Professional or Windows Media Center then you can increase the speed of your Internet connection by about 20% with a simple and fast configuration change default operating system. In fact, both versions of Windows in question are configured to reserve a part of banda available for the various update services and monitor the presence of spyware.
E 'can remove this constraint without causing any disruption or malfunction simply by following these steps:
- Go to "Start" => "Run…" and in the text box that appears, type "gpedit.msc" and then give Sending;
- In the window "Policy Group" that will appear navigate menu on the left by selecting the "Administrative Templates," then "Network" and finally "Task Scheduler packages QoS";
- In the central part of the window to do a double click on "Narrow width banda riservabile";
- Select "On" and under the heading "Limit width of banda (%)" write "0";
- Select "Apply" and then "OK"
- Restart the Computer

I'm not sure of the procedure because I have not tried, though it still policy is not to restart the PC but simply is sufficient to force the upgrade of the criteria with a
GPUPDATE / FORCEStart - RunBearing in mind that XP Home is devoid of the management of Group Policy, of course only works on XP Professional.
