Eye sellers online little serious!
It was a life that I wanted to buy a decent handheld for me the navigation system and after careful research had identified the model that interested me most is the site where you make the purchase: it was the IPAQ HX2750 for sale to the figure of 374 € ( VAT excluded) from the site www.infomedia-store.it. The site appeared to be serious and early September 2005 proceeded with the order on-line using credit cards, think
the product reported (and still shows - see next) the words "immediately available".
After not much I realized that something was not going well: they were already past two weeks and the handheld high availability with delivery times of 3-5 days "still had not seen ...
I started to try and make me feel, but the seller ignored my e-mail request explanations and telephone support was bogus (the site reported a cell phone number that was never lit). After the 30 days required by law to send the goods by the seller decided to send a letter of formal notice and .... Guess po '? After the 10 days recommended me back with the words "Primarily transferred."
I had definitive proof that I had to do with a 'little company certainly serious and on the advice of a friend giocai the last card: avviai the procedure of the dispute at CartaSì payment, the lender of my credit card. Fortunately, this proved to be the winning move: the practice of dispute was viewed promptly and a few days I was refunded the total expenditure with the date on the day of purchase.
This experience taught me three important things:
- Always wary of offers too convenient or advantageous;
- never to buy blindly: it is always important to try networked comments or feedback regarding the site at which you are about to make a purchase;
- Always use a credit card for purchases on the Internet: the institution lender in these cases is almost always by the buyer. Imagine if I had done a bank transfer?
Also in my case I add one last tip: do not buy on-www.infomedia store.it! Just think that, something totally illegal, still showing in terms of the sale's location (see opposite) where I had sent the letter that I returned back and no longer accept credit card payments but only those by bank transfer!
