The 50 most important people of the web
PC World magazine, as she says loves to draw the rankings, has published a list of the 50 most important personalities of the web.
What we tried to do was essentially groped to answer the following question: "who's making the biggest impact online?", Or "Who are the people most of all were able to have an influence on everything what we read, listen, buy, sell, ... on the network? ".
The result may be quite questionable, but say that at least in the top five positions us quite off:
- 1. Eric Schmidt, Larry Page and Sergey Brin, the presidents or executive of Google, absolute ruler of the web and in particular of the 'online advertising. "
2. Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple, a company that is experiencing a golden age thanks to decide winners in the field of mobile devices and online music.
3. Bram Cohen co-founder of BitTorrent that in these days is trying (to fatigue) to act as legal alternative for downloading movies to rent.
4. Mike Morhaime, president of Blizzard Entertainment that with "World Of Warcraft" has eight million online gamers worldwide.
5. Jimmy Wales, founder of Wikipedia one of the best that have ever been undertaken on the network. And because the initiatives clean and non-profit does not ever find enough space here today, unfortunately, Wikipedia is likely to close.
