Recover accidentally deleted files on Linux

giis In the past we have talked about how we can recover accidentally deleted files and removed from the basket on Windows; in this post we'll see how we can achieve the same results when you run a Linux operating system.

An excellent tool for data recovery on Linux is represented by giis (which stands for "GET IT I say") a free tool designed specifically to the file type EXT3/EXT2. The interface is very simple and standard text, the options available for recovery groped allow the restoration of individual files, files with a certain format, all files of a certain user, and finally to make a dump of data from old positions. E 'can only retrieve files from mountpoint / root and / home.
