Life is a serious matter

... Reminded me the funeral I attended this morning.
A loved one is suddenly no: when death touches us closely always forces us to reflect on the meaning of life. It 'something which we can not shirk. Still we live and plan our lives thinking in absurd prospect of immortality, as if we were to ever die. We are rational beings but at the same time enormously stupid: Do not we realize that we can not add a single moment in our lives and we illusion of being lords and masters. We think everything is permissible provided that satisfy us and not harm others, we live by the "carpe diem" the only reason. There disgusting old age and death shocked us, so that often do not even want to nominate: "Please do not talk about the dead!" Said a day a person shocked by the fact that I had mentioned a person who had been missing.
There 'little to say: we are ephemeral and do not want to admit. We live in a world constantly and in a society that contradict their anthropocentrism which places man at the center of everything. But the center of that?
I am increasingly convinced that if man really loses sight of its raison d'etre then everything falls into chaos and total relativism: you lose the knowledge of good and evil, and worse yet lose the knowledge of themselves ! There is no "cogito ergo sum" that takes!
I think the only center, the only reason to exist for all of us who can not stay in one who created us and gave us life, God. And I am one who does not love the theories or moralisms: I have always demanded the facts and the facts as that which I witnessed today, in which the death of a person was experienced as the entry into eternal life, I can say that he glimpsed the real presence of him that the Mother Church defines as God the Father.
